Re: Irrelevent series ip and Gateway issue
Dear Sir
,
Look at the following ex.
Nat IP : 10.5.5.14
Sub net mask : 255.0.0.0
Gateway : 10.0.0.1
The series ended in Nat ip is '5.14' and for Gateway ended in '0.1' due to this irrelevant series of ip and Gateway my client (Tx) not connecting with server. But in the diagnostics it shows all the status were OK.
Kindly provide me the solution. This type of issue I faced in 2 client places of Chennai

Re: Irrelevent series ip and Gateway issue
Theoretically host IP and gateway should be on the same IP subnet. but there are some situations where host IP and gateway subnet are on different subnets
In situation additional IPs should serve as main IP address and there is no gateway on same subnet available.
So here are the assumptions :
a.b.c.d is the host IP
e.f.g.h is the gateway IP
a.b.c.d & e.f.g.h are on different subnets.
Will check and update you
